John C. Park M.D.

Dr John Park started Edison Ophthalmology Associates, LLC in 2004 and is the lead surgeon on staff. He is a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology, Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and member of New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr Park has performed thousands of surgical procedures including cataract extraction, advanced multifocal implants, astigmatic intraocular implants, laser vision correction, corneal transplant (PKP and DSAEK) and glaucoma surgeries, yielding unparalleled surgical outcomes.

Dr Park studied Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics at Yale University before starting medical school training at UMDNJ- Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. He then completed ophthalmology residency at St. Vincent Catholic Medical Center- Brooklyn and Queens, where he served as Chief Resident and helped teach residents to manage complex cases. After the completion of residency training, Dr Park pursued further fellowship training in Anterior Segment/Cornea/Refractive Surgery at the prestigious Tulane University Hospital and Clinic in New Orleans, LA.
